Professor Mark Whiteley founded The Whiteley Clinic in the UK having introduced endovenous surgery to the country in 1999. He Trained at Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and was an Academic Surgeon at Oxford University in the 1990’s.

Mark has an active research program at The Whiteley Clinic into all aspects of venous disease, including varicose veins, venous leg ulcers and pelvic congestion syndrome. He sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery Venous and Lymphatic Disorders, has published over 125 peer reviewed papers and 4 books including “Leg Ulcer Treatment Revoltion”. He founded The College of Phlebology in the UK.
